YPSA took part in a six-day “Development Fair 2017” organized by a state-run development agency The Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF), at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC), Dhaka. This development fair aims to help expand the market of products made by marginal people with a view to pulling them out of poverty.
Inaugurating the fair on 29 October, Finance Minister AMA Muhith said PKSF founded by the government has been playing vital role based on local knowledge and assets in poverty alleviation and development.
Agricultural Minister Matia Chowdhury attended the programme as the special guest. Dr Qazi Kholiquzzaman Ahmad presided over the opening session.
Some 90 organizations around the country set up 133 stalls at the fair.
