Bangabandhu fought for the welfare of the people all his life : National Mourning Day observed

Meeing

Love for the people was the inspiration for all the activities of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Father of the Nation, the greatest Bengali of all time. The main goal of the activities of Bangabandhu was the welfare of the people. Which is reflected in his political ideology, such as democracy, secularism and socialism. His dream was to ‘put a smile on the face of miserable people’, from this expression we can understand how comprehensive and versatile Bangabandhu’s idea of inclusive development of the society was. Said Md. Arifur Rahman, Chief Executive at YPSA in a discussion meeting on the National Mourning Day organized by YPSA in Chattogram.

Bangabandhu and Bangladesh are inseparable. He has gifted an independent country by uniting the disenfranchized Bengali people. Going beyond politics, Bangabandhu’s ideology should be adopted by all as the liberation of the people of independent Bangladesh. He added.

YPSA also arranged a special prayer and Milad Mahfil on the National Mourning Day. Manzur Murshed Chowdhury, Director (Economic Development) conducted the prayer.

A concept paper titled “Bangabandhu and Struggle for People’s Liberation” written by Md. Arifur Rahman, read out in the meeting by Sayeed Akhter, Assistant Director (Economic Development) and Sanzida Akhter, Prayas-2 Project Coordinator.
