Share

Save the Children (SC) and its implementing partner Young Power in Social Action (YPSA) is supporting three pre-primary learning centres (LC) in remote areas in Cox’s Bazar for the children aged 3-5 years. These LCs are being run by the Australian Humanitarian Partnership (AHP) Bangladesh consortium, with financial support from the Australian Government’s Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade (DFAT). SC has reconstructed the existing school buildings and other facilities, ensured community engagement and provided necessary trainings to the two female teachers in each LC. Under this project, pre-primary education assistance is being provided to a total of 270 children in three villages. The inclusion of children with disabilities in these centers has also been ensured.
