Goal and Objective of Project:
Funding and capacity building of small entrepreneurs affected by Covid-19 to restore their business activities
Financing expansion of enterprises through capacity building of backward micro entrepreneurs
Providing training and employment support to youth from low-income families through Apprenticeship model.
Project Participants/ Target Population:
- Small entrepreneurs affected by covid-19, unemployed youth who dream to be an entrepreneur.
- Comparatively backward small entrepreneur and his family
- Disadvantaged communities like Dalits, minorities, Chars, Howrs, hilly areas, tea garden and coastal areas and disabled youth and small entrepreneurs.
Activities
- Provide Skill development Training on Business and Craftsmanship under a skillful Master Craftsperson.
- Provide Life Skills Development and Entrepreneurship Development Training under a skilled Trainer.
- Assisting in wage-based and self-employment resources.
- Provide loan with easy terms and conditions to start business to selected apprentices.
- Arrange Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for selected apprentice.
Five Major Achievements of Project:
- Distributed 8 corer loan among 800 Covid 19 situation affected small entrepreneurs with easy condition. 800 ME (Micro Entrepreneurs) received “Risk Management and Business Continuity (RMBC)” Training for 3 days.
- Distributed 8.52 corer loan among 696 youth entrepreneurs to establish their business (Till December 2024). Total target 1148 persons. All the Youth Entrepreneurs will receive 16 days long ‘Business Management and Entrepreneurs Development (BMED) Training’.
- “Business Management and Entrepreneur Development (BMED)” Training provided to 667 youth entrepreneurs.
- Provided orientation to 70 establish small entrepreneurs on ‘Apprenticeship program management’.
- Provided Skill Development Training for 240 apprentices under 50 Master craftsperson for 6 months with three batch.
- Provided “Life Skill Development” Training to 240 apprentices.
- 50% youth who received 6 months Skill development Training has engaged with IGA or ensured their job.
- 50 apprentices have successfully completed Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) from NSDA approved organization.
