Job responsibilities:
- Supervise field level day to day activities in the respective Upazilla for implementing and achieve objective of SWAPNO II project in the respective Upazila.
- Provide technical support to the Union Workers for implementing their activities at union level and developing their capacity
- Build strong coordination and linkage with selected UPs in the respective area and assist them to implement different activities of the project, monitor the activities and maintain all records in accordance with the operational guidelines formulated by the Government of Bangladesh and UNDP.
- Communicate with different Government offices Upazila- Union level government committees, Community leaders and civil society in the respective working areas.
- Ensure the quality of all training to be provided by the NGO.
- Facilitate to create employment for women beneficiaries through maintenance/repair of important public assets.
- Facilitate UPs to conduct Community Risk Assessments and Risk Reduction Action Plans, to identify important public assets that can reduce disaster-related vulnerabili-ties..
- Distribute working tools/plants to the women beneficiary groups by the UP.
- Facilitate women beneficiaries in savings behaviors through project interventions like ROSCA
- Prepare list and records for transferring Wages of women baneficiaries for their pub-lic work through mobile banking.
- Provide support to women with training on market-based skills, women entrepreneur-ship and access to productive employment to lift themselves out of poverty.
- Facilitate to provide Livelihood skills development and self-employment, Industrial Skills Development (for Formal sector employment) and Apprenticeship for Local Employment training to operate viable income generating activities or to engage in SMEs for building a sustainable livelihood.

- Facilitate the process to develop linkage between the beneficiaries and service pro-viders, microfinance institutions, including other initiatives of the Government at the UP level as well as financial institutions and small & medium enterprises for SME development/household micro business for women.
- Ensure Socio-economic and IGA MIS data (Both offline and online) through Union workers and support them to collect data and update data on a regular basis.
- Maintain gender-sensitive approach in all stages of programme implementation.
- Integrate protection safeguarding measures throughout project activities.
Qualifications and experience:
- At least 3 (three) years of direct working experience in working with poverty reduc-tion projects/ training activities, and/or UP capacity development.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Must have a valid motorcycle driving license.
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent team approach
- Skilled in computer use specially MS word, MS Excel and internet.
Monthly Consolidated Salary: 31,860 BDT, no other facilities will be provided.
Job location: Monohorgonj Upazilla of Cumilla district and Haimchar/Faridgonj Upazila of Chandpur district.
