Construction work of water and sanitation facility for the Abdul Bari Government Primary School has been inaugurated by Mr. Mohammad Taiyab, 18 East Bakolia Ward Commissioner of Chittagong City Corporation on 26 December 2013.
YPSA is implementing a project “Climate Change Adaption by Ensuring Water and Sanitation Facility in Cyclone Shelter” funded by Every Drop Matters (EDM), a partnership between the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and The Coca-Cola Company. YPSA has started to work for ensuring safe drinking water and adequate sanitation facilities of 12 Cyclone shelter based primary schools of Chittagong City Corporation which are recognized as disaster-prone.
Headmistress Ms. Josna Begum, Eng. Bijoy Chowdhury and Mr. Jashim Uddin, Program Officer of YPSA were present in the inaugural program.
