“Receiving legal assistance is a constitutional right for every citizen. Legal aid is the assistance given to people otherwise unable to afford legal representation or access to the court. Common people did not know more about legal aid services but nowadays they are more aware of their rights about legal aid service. NGOs played significant role providing legal aid service to the poor in the country.  Disadvantaged people will be benefited through YPSA’s initiatives”

Said Upazila Nirbahi Officer of Rangunia Saiful Islam Mazumder in a closing ceremony of a 3-day training workshop for the local government representatives on “Legal Rights and Legal Aid” at Rangunia on 11 January 2016 organized by BLAST-YPSA consortium.

Chairman of Mariam Nogor Md Salim presided over the program. Project Manager of YPSA Jigarul Islam Jigar and Trainer of BLAST Mizanur Rahman delivered their speech.

UP Chairman and members from different union of Rangunia participated in the training workshop.
