YPSA and Coordination Committee jointly organized a procession in front of the Civil Surgeon Office Chittagong and Discussion session at Muslim Hall Institution on the occasion of World AIDS Day 09. Dr. Abu Taybe, Acting Civil Surgeon of Chittagong inaugurated the program. Over 1,200 governmental, NGO, civil society, and target population individuals attended the rally. Mrs. Chamon Ara Bagum Minister of Parliament of Bangladesh Govt. was the chief Guest and Dr. Md. Didrul Alam Director of Health Chittagong was the special guest. Mrs. Khalada Begum, Team leader of YPSA, CS Office also spoke on the meeting & key was the discussion meeting of Professor Dr. A.Q.M Serijul Islam.
Among other Frahana Idris, PO-YPSA, Mrs. Majada Begum, PE of YPSA, spoke on the meeting. Theme of this year “Stop AIDS Keep the Promise- Universal Access & Human Rights”.
