Deputy Managing Director Md. Fazlul Kader and Deputy General Manger Md. Abdul Matin of PKSF visited YPSA during 5-7 August, 2014. On the first day, they exchanged views with the poor women who came at the Sayedpur Maternal Health Camp under YPSA’s ENRICH program to get their health services. Mr. Kader inaugurated the health camp after sharing the programs and services of PKSF.
They visit a display center of Vermicompost Fertilizer under ENRICH program. Visitors have been informed about the production, uses and benefits of Vermicompost Fertilizer. Mr. Kader emphasized to bring each farmer’s family under this program.
He exchanged views with 25 persons with disability in which all are the representatives of Mirer Hat Self-help Organization for the Disable people. After that the visitors went to a village Kodurkhil to visit a blacksmith Khokon Kumar’s factory. Khokon Kumar is the owner of this factory who is the beneficiary of YPSA’s Microfinance and Microenterprise program.
Afterward, they met two successful beneficiaries at Katgor Ms. Nur Akter to visit her pigeon and dove firm and Ms. Jesmin Akter Rani to visit her swing training center for the unskilled garment worker.
Then they visit Physiotherapy Center located at YPSA HRDC Sitakund. They also visit Community Radio Sagor Giri FM 99.2 at Sitakund.
On the last day, they attended a meeting with YPSA management and staff at the head office. Md. Arifur Rahman, Chief Executive of YPSA presented YPSA’s work and its previous 3 years achievements and next 2 years plan of Microfinance and Microenterprise program through a power point presentation.
At last they visited YPSA’s ICT and Resource Center on Disability.
On this three-day visit, Md. Arifur Rahman, Chief Executive, Mr. Manzur Murshed Chowdhury, Director(ED), Md. Sayeed Akter, Program Manager, Sheikh Manzur Kader, Finance Officer of YPSA accompanied them all the time.
