YPSA organized a 3-day Training on Trainers (TOT) on Appreciative Community and Youth Leadership from 23 -25 June, 2015 at YPSA-HRDC Campus, Sitakund. Md. MahabuburRahaman, Director (Social Development) of YPSA inaugurated the TOT. He said, “We want to keep our good activities under the Leadership Development Program (LDP) program like earlier phase and this is very challenging for YPSA because of short period of time. Leadership Development Program of YPSA achieved sound reputation for social and behavior changes of youth and communities in the Sitakund and hope to expand same expectation in Ramu and MirsaraiUpazila with hard working and dedication thought.”

There are 6 YPSA-LDP staffs received training on Appreciative Community and Youth Leadership from Counterpart International from 14 -17 June, 2015 at Hope Foundation, Savar, Dhaka. They played a major role as a facilitation of the TOT with other program officers of YPSA-LDP.
The TOT was conducted for leadership skill development of both community and youth citizens. The important sessions of the TOT were development history and concept of leadership, role of volunteerism on leadership skill, appreciative investigation methods, exploring positive site of society, future dream exploitation, Design and Delivery with appreciative approach, Participatory Social Survey, Social and Resource Mapping, Venn Diagram Preparation, Gender Role on Human Rights etc.
