European Union EU, BRAC and BRAC University organized a national consultation workshop “Growth and Climate Change: Opportunities and Challenges in Bangladesh” at The Westin Hotel, Dhaka on 27th October15. Chief Executive of YPSA Md. Arifur Rahman presented “Environment and Livelihood Security” issues at Technical Session ii: Climate Change and Inclusive Growth. He shared the National efforts of YPSA and Displacement Solutions (DS) joint program “Bangladesh Housing, Land and Properties HLP Rights Initiatives”

Ms.Sophie Aubert, Ambassador of France to Bangladesh, Mr. Henrik Width, Deputy Head of Mission, Royal Norwegian embassy to Bangladesh, Dr. Muhammad Musa, Executive Director, BRAC, Dr. Ainun Nishat, Professor Emeritus and Advisor, Centre for Climate Change and Environmental research (C3ER), BRAC University and Mr. Anisul Islam Mahmud MP, Hon’ble Minister, Ministry of Water Resources, Government of Bangladesh were present in the consultation workshop.
