YPSA distributed Emergency Shelter Kits to 2400 cyclone ROANU affected families at Khankanabad, Sanua and Gondamara Union and 47 T-shelter houses have been built for cyclone affected people at Khankanabad union in Bashkhali, Chittagong with the support of Habitat for Humanity Bangladesh. Shelter kit contained essential tools and materials including metal roof sheet (Tin), Bamboo, handsaw, rope, nail, shovel, hoe, machete, claw hammer and Tk. 1000 cash for transportation cost.
Mr. John Armstrong, National Director of Habitat for Humanity Bangladesh visited khankanabad field and talked to the beneficiaries who are getting shelter houses and ESK support, on 12 February 2017.
