On 31st May, 2022 YPSA observed World No Tobacco Day’ 2022 with the motivation to support this year’s theme “Tobacco threat to our environment”. A discussion meeting was held at the conference room of YPSA Head Office, Chattogram. The event was moderated by Md. Arifur Rahman, Chief Executive of YPSA and facilitated by Gazi Md. Mainuddin, Program Manager & Head- HRM&D and Admin Department.
At the beginning, a concept note was presented by group of YPSA staffs and an open discussion has taken place during the event on the effect of tobacco consumes and how YPSA has been contributing to support the campaign of no tobacco in public places and transports. In this regard, Md. Arifur Rahman said, YPSA has been working in discouraging use of tobacco in public place way before the World No Tobacco Day was declared and will continue this until this deadly use of substance removed from our community.”
