To address the ongoing flood crisis in Chattogram, Sylhet, and Comilla, the NGO Affairs Bureau under the Office of the Chief Adviser of the Government of Bangladesh has launched the “In Aid to Civil Power” initiative.
As part of this effort, the heads of BRAC, Young Power in Social Action (YPSA), and Friends in Village Development Bangladesh (FIVDB) have been appointed as NGO representatives in the Regional Coordination Center under “In Aid to Civil Power.”
Mr. Md. Arifur Rahman, YPSA’s Chief Executive for Chattogram Region, Mr. Asif Saleh, BRAC’s Executive Director for Comilla Region, and Mr. Bazle Mostafa Razi, FIVDB’s Executive Director for Sylhet Region, will oversee the initiative in their respective areas.
