YPSA, in partnership with the APNIC Foundation, hosted a workshop titled “Developing an Online Accessible E-Book Platform.” The event was held in the YPSA conference room, with participants including Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).
This initiative resulted in the creation of a specialized online platform featuring e-books in the E-PUB 3 format, designed specifically for students with visual and other disabilities. The platform allows users to easily read and download the revised textbooks published by the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB), Bangladesh, for the 2025 academic year.
The workshop was inaugurated by Nasim Banu, Director of YPSA, and was expertly conducted by Abdullah Al Shakir, Web Manager at YPSA.
