To strengthen the capacity of its staff, YPSA organized a two-day training on Project Cycle Management (PCM) on 29–30 December 2025 at the YPSA Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC) in Ramu, Cox’s Bazar. The training was arranged by YPSA’s Organizational Learning and Reflection Unit.
A total of 32 participants, including project leaders and monitoring personnel from various YPSA projects, participated in the training. Dr. Arifur Rahman, Founder and Chief Executive of YPSA, attended the program as the Chief Guest. In his address, he emphasized the importance of effective project planning, compliance, and accountability, and encouraged participants to apply the acquired knowledge in their day-to-day project implementation.
The training covered a wide range of topics, including the basics of Project Cycle Management, logical framework development, risk management, work planning and operational planning, budgeting and financial reporting, project compliance, safeguarding and gender inclusion, monitoring and evaluation, team building and conflict management, stress management, managerial roles, and quality report writing.
The sessions were facilitated by a team of experienced resource persons, including Dr. Shasunnahar Chowdhury, Management Advisor; Md. Shahjahan, Director (KM4D); Nasim Banu, Director (Social Development); Roksana Begum, Deputy Director (Finance); Abdur Sabur, Assistant Director and Safeguarding Focal Person; and Pradip Acharjee, Manager, KM4D.
The training concluded with a strong commitment from participants to enhance project effectiveness, strengthen compliance, and improve overall program quality through the application of PCM tools and approaches.
