Md. Belal Uddin, Best Remittance user of Sitakund, Mr. Liakat Ali, Program Officer of YPSA and MRIS project beneficiaries received “Best Remittance User Family Award” from Shonar Manush Shommanona and Remittance Utsob.
Mr Abul Maal Abdul Muhith, MP, Honorable Minister, Ministry of Finance of Bangladesh Government was present as the Chief Guest in the festival. To highlight the contribution of the remitters and remittance users in the national economy and also to encourage the service providers, Refugee and Migratory Research Unit (RMMRU) organized the festival at Bangabandhu International Conference Center, Agargaon, Dhaka on 26 October 2011.
