A workshop titled “Implementation and Enforcement of Tobacco Control Law in Bangladesh” jointly arranged by National Tobacco Control Cell (NTCC), Divisional Health Office of Chittagong and YPSA with the support from World Health Organization (WHO), Bangladesh at the conference room of the Chittagong Divisional Health Office on 31 October.
Dr. Md. Abu Taher, Divisional Director (Health) presided over the workshop. Md. Serajul Haq Khan, Divisional Commissioner of Chittagong division was present as the Chief Guest in the workshop. Mr. Md. Amin Ul Ahsan, Program Manager of National Tobacco Control Cell, presented the key paper . Divisional Commissioner emphasized on the joint effort of all concerned government and non-government organization to enforce the tobacco control law.
