International Peace Walk 2013 in Bangladesh

Peace is most precious demand across the world. Young people and like-minded organizations taking different initiatives to promote peace. International Peace walk is an initiative as such. YPSA agrees with this mandate of International Peace Youth Group and decided to observe this event in Bangladesh.

YPSA organize a walk in Chittagong, comprising of people from different clusters’ of our community. We read aloud the Declaration of World Peace to the gathering. This actually helps the people to aware about the peace and our responsibility to create a peaceful society. YPSA Chief Executive Mr. Arifur Rahman states that Yong People are agents for change. They have to keep aside conflicting situations in their surroundings’ and promote peace. YPSA will always promote a peaceful state and work with the young people. Mr. Mahabubur Rahman, YPSA Director, Social Development program  , Mr. Mohammad Shahjahan, tem leader- Housing Land and Property rights initiatives, Ms. Khaleda Begum, tem leader YPSA Health Service, Ms. Nasim Banu Shamoli, Team leader Tobacco free kids,  Vashkar Bhattacharya- Program Manager; Disability and ICT, Subir Das, Focal person Youth Issue and others people joined this walk. Walk started from YPSA head office, and around the Chandgaon area.
