Dignity kits distributed to displaced women who fled violence in Myanmar

Dignity kits distributed to displaced women from Myanmar

YPSA and ActionaAid Bangladesh have come together with humanitarian response for forcefully displaced Myanmar citizen in Cox’s Bazar. Most of these displaced citizens are women. During the crackdown by the Myanmar army and local extremists, most women from Myanmar had to come out of their houses with no baggage, no additional clothes.  They just escaped their potential killers and rapists.

However, besides food and shelter, women in the camp need reproductive health protection kits to ensure their safe reproductive health.

YPSA with the support of ActionAid Bangladesh has distributed 1000 dignity kits consisting of reusable sanitary napkin, maxi dress, panty, sandal, flash light, soaps, bucket and other cloths at Moinnarghona Camp in Ukhya on 8th October 2017.
