When Shilpi was a child, she suffered from severe typhoid fever and become visually impaired. In her family she has her parents, two sisters and a brother. Due to her disability, she had been facing severe discrimination from the very beginning of her life. Eventually by overcoming these obstacles and barriers, Shilpi successfully passed SSC examination from Muradpur Government Blind School. Her father is a day laborer and mother is a housewife.
