YPSA Chief Executive Md. Arifur Rahman paid a courtesy meeting with Additional Divisional Commissioner (Development), Chattogram, Mohammad Mizanur Rahman at the Chattogram Divisional Commissioner’s Office on 17 September, 2020. During the meeting, the Chief Executive of YPSA presented various activities implemented by YPSA and the humanitarian assistance program for forcibly displaced Myanmar citizens or Rohingyas.
Additional Divisional Commissioner lauded the activities of YPSA. He thanked YPSA for implementing the program through public participation, transparency and accountability.
Flip Charts on “Role of Women, Youth and Students in Establishing Social Harmony and Peace” prepared under the project titled “Community Engagement in Countering Violent Extremism in Chattogram Division (CEVEC)”, were handed over to Additional Divisional Commissioner Mohammad Mizanur Rahman during the meeting.
YPSA has been implementing the project Community Engagement in Countering Violent Extremism since 2016 with the support of Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund (GCERF) and direct involvement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of Bangladesh.
