Family Planning Service Week-2010 begun at Sitakund

Sitakund Upazila Health and Family Planning Office organized programs to mark the Family Planning Service Week-2010 with a call to strengthen the family Planning activities to keep the population growth under at Sitakund with the support of YPSA. The Service Week begun on 30 October ended on 4 November followed by rally and discussion meeting. “According to the UNFPA, the total population of the country is now 164.4 Million that is very high for the country and overpopulation is increasing unemployment and crime. It threatens our food security” speakers said in the meeting
