YPSA distributed insecticide-treated mosquito net among the 40 thousands poor families in Rangunia Upazilla in the year of 2008 and 2010 since the district is estimated as a Malaria Endemic Area. Other 24 thousands mosquito nets are being distributed this month with the support of Global Fund and BRAC. “Uses of insecticide-treated mosquito net should be ensured to prevent Malaria. It will be easier to reach vision 2021 if the government and non-government organizations work together” said DR. HASAN MAHMUD, State Minister for Environment and Forests while he was present as chief guest in the mosquito net distribution program organized in Sharafvhata High School, Rangunia on 17 September.
