The Mayor of Chittagong City Corporation Alhaj M. Manzur Alam has been honored and given crest from YPSA and smoke free coalition for his land mark initiatives to create a smoke free Chittagong City. The award is given on the occasion of 150 anniversary of city corporation on 25th July 2013 at the mayor office in CCC. YPSA Chief executive Mr. Md. Arifur Rahman, along with Mr. Mahabubur Rahaman (Director-SDP), Mr. Palash Chowdhury (Director-Finance) and Mr. Morshed Chowdhury (Director-ED) handed over the crest to the mayor.
Besides, Mr. Gias Udddin, a councilor of CCC and an active member of the smoke free coalition, Chief Executive officer of CCC Mr. Ali Ahmed were present the ceremony while the team leader of smoke free project Ms. Nasim Banu, Promgram manager, Mr. Muhammed Ali Shahin and Associate program Officer Mr. Omar Shahed also joined the event.
