YPSA receives certificate of appreciation from USAID and Winrock International to successfully finish Survivors Care & Support (SS) activities as a partner of Actions for Combating Trafficking in Persons (ACT) program. The closing ceremony was held at Spectra Convention centre, Dhaka on 15 September’ 2014. Dr. Kamal Uddin Ahmed, Additional secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs of Bangladesh Govt. was the chief guest of this Program.
Mr. Amber Brooks, Director, USAID/Bangladesh, Democracy and Governance unit. Mr. AKM Salimullah, Solicitor, Law & Justice, Ministry of Law, Justice & Parliamentary Affairs. Mr. Md. Feroz Al Mozahid Khan, Additional DIG, (Training & Sports), Bangladesh Police were present as honorable special guests in the program. Ms. Sara Stephens, Chief of Party, ACT program, Winrock International has welcomed all guests and participants and shared the program achievements and lessons learned of ACT program.
USAID and Winrcok International have distributed the certificate of appreciation to all implementing partners of ACT Program in the occasion. YPSA has finished successfully ACT program activities at greater Chittagong through Shelter Support & Community based activities. The Chief Executive (CE) of YPSA Mr. Arifur Rahman has received certificate of appreciation from USAID and Winrock International in the program.
