YPSA, grant aid by the People and Government of the Japan established Cox’s Bazar Youth Training Centre (CYC) in Cox’s Bazar under Chittagong Division of Bangladesh. This training center was officially inaugurated with various colorful events on November 26, 2014. Mr. Hideshi Sasahara, First Secretary of the Japan Embassy in Bangladesh was present while Dr. Anupom Saha, ADC (General), Cox’s Bazar was present as the chief guest in the opening ceremony. Mr. Masud Hossain , UNO of Ramu , Coxsbazar presided over the discussion meeting.
The CYC will act as the centre of eminence development of youth as well as community people in Cox’sbazar. YPSA have already started some long term development programs based in CYC which focus on different professional skills and capacity development, Leadership Development, Community Legal Services, Conservation of the forestry and ecology, Health and Sanitation, Climate resilience initiatives etc.
Mr.Chailaow Marma , ASP-DSB , Cox’sbazar , Mr.Mohammad Sanaullah , DD-Youth, Cox’s Bazar , Mr.Anwar Hossain , OC(Investigation) , Ramu Thana , Mr.Mahabubur Rahman , Director ( Social Development) , YPSA and Mr. Vashkar , Program Manager of YPSA were also present in the program.
