In order to provide legal aid to women, men and children living in poverty or facing disadvantage or discrimination, YPSA has launched Community Legal Service (CLS) center at the Nazirhat Bazar in Sandwip with the support of Maxwell Stamp PLC and Community Legal Service (CLS) on April 18, 2015. Mr. Ruhul Amin, Chairman (Acting) of Baoria Union and other UP members were present at the launching ceremony.
“A panel layer will provide legal advice from the center weekly. A CLS Coalition will be formed by taking people from different occupations of different Unions under the center. Members of coalition will identify disputations within their area and support the center to minimize the disagreements” said Mr. Salimullah, Upazilla Manager of YPSA during his speech on the occasion.
