Speaker urges mayor for proper Implementation of allocated budget of Chittagong City Corporation for anti tobacco activities, in a divisional meeting arranged by YPSA led Anti Tobacco Media Alliance (ATMA) held at Mandarin Restaurant, Chittagong on 2, February’ 2016. A decision was also made to meet mayor about the issue in the meeting.
It was urged authority to keep an eye on the enforcement of Smoking and Tobacco Products Usage (Control) Rule 2015. According to the rule, graphic health warning along with pictures on the packet of tobacco products supposed to be provided by tobacco manufacturing company.
The meeting was moderated by Omar Shahed, Program Officer, YPSA. Journalists from different print and electronic media participated in the meeting.
