Cyclone ROANU affected families receive Emergency Shelter Kits at Banskhali

YPSA has distributed Emergency Shelter Kits among 1050 Cyclone ROANU affected families at Khankanabad Union of Bashkhali, Chittagong with the support of Habitat for Humanity Bangladesh. Mr. John Armstrong, National Director of Habitat for Humanity Bangladesh was present in the distribution program on 25 October 2016.
Shelter kit contains essential tools and materials including metal roof sheet (Tin), Bamboo, handsaw, rope, nail, shovel, hoe, machete, claw hammer and Tk. 1500 cash for transportation.
Md. Arifur Rahman, Chief Executive of YPSA gave speech about the disaster management project while Abu Siddique, Chairman of Khankanabad Union Parishad presided over the distribution program. Palash Chowdhury, Director (Finance) of YPSA, Abul Bashar, Senior Program manager of Habitat for Humanity Bangladesh were also present in the Emergency Shelter Kits distribution program.
