Habitat for Humanity International, Korea and Bangladesh delegates came to visit the construction site of T-Shelters (houses) which is implemented by YPSA at Shekherkhil in Banshkhali Upazila. Here, 42 transitional shelters and 8 tube wells as post-disaster renovation are underway by YPSA in collaboration with Habitat for Humanity International.
The team reached Shekherkhil on Tuesday morning and Union Parishad Chairman Mohammad Yasin, UP members and YPSA officials welcomed them with flowers.
Later, they visit construction site. During this time, Ms. Hannah from Habitat for Humanity International Korea, and Simon Tushar Halder, Md. Ashraful Alam, Mian Michael Jahangir from Habitat for Humanity International Bangladesh, Chairman of Shekherkhil Union Parishad, YPSA Project Coordinator Kollan Barua, Union Parishad Members and other officials from YPSA were present.
In addition to visit the T-shelter construction program, the team observes a disaster management training workshop and shared opinions with the local UP chairman and UP members.
