YPSA with the support of Palli Karma Sahayak Foundation (PKSF), a financial institution founded by the Government of Bangladesh, organized different events at Sitakund and Sandwip on 1st October to mark the International Day of Older Persons’2019. Rally, Discussion meeting and essay competition on the theme of the day “The Journey to Age Equality” for the school students were arranged.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Sandwip Upazila Nurul Huda was present as the chief guest and Sandwip Upazila Women’s Affairs Officer Didarul Alam and former general secretary of Sandwip Press Club, Elias Kamal Babul were present at the events in Sandwip.
Sitakunda Upazila Social Services Officer Lutfur Nesha was present as the chief guest of the event in Sitakund.
