YPSA Activista Chittagong LRP-48 project supported by ActionAid Bangladesh started first phase of emergency food support and hygiene kit distribution among 248 families including 523 ultra-poor, persons with disability, excluded and marginalized community as a part of youth-led COVID-19 response project for coping up terrible COVID-19 outbreak situation. Under this project, YPSA will setup hand washing zone, spray disinfectant solution in different places in the community, provide entrepreneurship support to the effected young people.
The program was inaugurated by YPSA Deputy Director of social development Ms Nasim Banu Shyamali. During the distribution, YPSA APILUP project Manager Farhana Idris, YPSA Youth-led COVID-19 response project Officer Tanvir Ahmed, YPSA A4I Program Officer, Shovan Chowdhury and youth volunteer of YPSA Activista Chittagong LRP-48 were present in this program. The whole program was coordinated and represented by YPSA APILUP project Manager Farhana Idris.
