Mr. Md. Arifur Rahman, Chief Executive at YPSA has been elected as a member of General Committee of Bangladesh NGO Foundation which is an organization under the Bank and Financial Institutions Division of Ministry of Finance, Government of Bangladesh. Mathribhumi Foundation in Chottagram congratulates and presents honorary memento to the Md. Arifur Rahman for being elected a member of the General Committee, Bangladesh NGO Foundation (BNF).
“The activities of NGOs are among those who have a indisputable role to play in the development of Bangladesh along with the government” said while Mr. Md. Arifur Rahman addressed the function as the chief guest.
Mr. Md. Arifur Rahman further said that the development of the country would be accelerated if development activities were conducted on the basis of consensus and partnership of all. He praised the Mathribhumi Foundation’s anti-drug activities, health activities, literacy activities and all other social welfare activities.
Anwar Islam Bappi, President of Mathribhumi Foundation presided over the function.
Mr. Sirajul Mamun, General Secretary, Mathribhumi Foundation, Mr. Shafiul Azam, Co-President, Mr. Alamgir, Finance Secretary, Mr. Yusuf Akbar Mohammad, Executive Director, Mr. Kazi Ahsan Iqbal Manzur, Director, Mr. Noman Ullah Bahar, Samsuddin Togar and Md. Omar Shahed Hiro, Senior Program Officer, YPSA also spoke on the occasion.
Mr. Md. Arifur Rahman while exchanging views with the members of Smart Bangladesh, an affiliate of Mathrubhumi Foundation, said that the youth should be protected from the aggression of tobacco and drugs.
