A courtesy meeting between YPSA representatives and the honorable Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commissioner, Mr. Shah Rezwan Hayat (Additional Secretary) was held at the Cox’s Bazar Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commissioner’s Office on December 24.
Various activities of YPSA like humanitarian assistance program for the forcibly displaced Myanmar Nationals (FDMN) or Rohingya (especially elder-friendly activities, human trafficking prevention activities, child rights and child protection activities, food assistance program, shelter construction and reform activities, prevention of violent extremism), Prevention of Violence Against Women, Youth Development and Youth Employment, and Humanitarian Aid to people affected by Covid-19 pandemic, were presented by Mohammad Shahidul Islam, Head of the Rohingya Response Program, and Jishu Barua, Program Manager, YPSA during the meeting.
Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commissioner Mr. Shah Rezwan Hayat praised YPSA’s Rohingya humanitarian assistance activities. He thanked YPSA for implementing humanitarian assistance through transparency and accountability.
During the meeting, YPSA requested the Commissioner to visit the activities implemented by YPSA and handed over the YPSA Diary 2021.
