The Safeguarding Mentorship Programme, conducted by Safeguarding Resource & Support Hub, Bangladesh, is renowned for its expertise in safeguarding and child protection globally. The programme is supported by UK International Development (FCDO). With the support of FCDO, YPSA was selected to participate and 10 mentees on behalf of YPSA participated in it. They learned about various safeguarding topics and tactics for six months and successfully completed the program.
The program completion certificate was handed over to Md. Arifur Rahman, Chief Executive, YPSA, in a special ceremony at a hotel in Dhaka on June 10, 2024.
Nafis Ziauddin, Head of Performance and Corporate Excellence, British High Commission, Dhaka, Andrea Watkins, Technical Director, Safeguarding Resource & Support Hub, and Amrita Rejina Rozario, Country Director, Sightsavers were present as special guests of the ceremony.
Representatives of CSOs, donor organizations, the government, and other development organizations were also present at this certificate-giving ceremony.

This certification not only recognizes the effort and dedication put into completing the program but also signifies YPSA’s readiness to lead safeguarding initiatives within the organization.
