YPSA achieved the Excellent Category Award for the PKSF Bangladesh Rural Water, Sanitation and Hygiene for Human Capital Development (HCD) project at its 4th Annual Coordination Meeting, which was held at the PKSF Bhaban on October 16, 2025.

According to the project’s guidelines, the award recognizes exceptional performance. Specifically, 104 branches from PKSF’s 30 partner organizations were honored as Best Branches for successfully installing a minimum of 180 two-pit latrines with safe management per branch. This achievement, which followed the project’s sanitation catalog, was measured over the six-month period from November 2024 to April 2025.

YPSA demonstrated outstanding commitment, with five of its branches—Hathazari, Sultanpur, Mogol’er Hat, Sitakund, and Mariamnagar—receiving the ‘Best Branch’ honors. The managers of the Hathazari, Sultanpur, and Mogol’er Hat branches personally attended the PKSF-1 Agargaon office to accept the awards.

The prestigious Excellence Category Award was presented to Dr. Md. Arifur Rahman, Founder and Chief Executive of YPSA, and Md. Manjur Murshed Chowdhury, Director (Economic Development), along with the attending branch managers. They received the award from a distinguished panel including:
