On 1 December 2025, Chattogram observed World AIDS Day with the global theme “Overcoming Disruption, Transforming the AIDS Response.” A rally and an insightful discussion session were held at the Conference Room of the Civil Surgeon Office, Chattogram.
The program was presided over by Dr. Jahangir Alam, Civil Surgeon, Chattogram, who highlighted the importance of strengthening prevention, awareness, and inclusive health services to eliminate AIDS-related stigma and ensure universal access to HIV services.
The event was organized by the Civil Surgeon Office, Chattogram, with active participation from various governmental and non-governmental organizations. Like other collaborating partners, YPSA actively participated in the rally and discussion session, reaffirming its commitment to community engagement, health awareness, and inclusive development.
Participants emphasized the need for continued partnership, community-based awareness, and innovative approaches to sustain progress in HIV prevention and care. The program concluded with a collective pledge to work towards a resilient and stigma-free society.
