Prof. Dr. Hafiz T. A. Khan of the Oxford Institute of Population Ageing, University of Oxford, UK, and Dr. Md. Alauddin, Professor of Public Health at Daffodil University, visited the YPSA Office, on 24 August 2026.
During the visit, they engaged in a productive and insightful discussion meeting with Dr. Md. Atifur Rahman, Founder and Chief Executive of YPSA, along with senior management representatives. The discussion focused on age-friendly initiatives, population ageing, public health, and emerging approaches to development, with particular emphasis on promoting inclusive and sustainable solutions.
The meeting also explored opportunities for knowledge exchange, sharing of experiences and expertise, and potential future collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
The visit was a valuable opportunity for YPSA to engage with distinguished academics and practitioners, exchange perspectives, and explore potential avenues for collaboration to advance inclusive, age-responsive, and sustainable development initiatives.
