Ms. Anuradha Khanal, Program Officer, Ms. Nelly Ahmed, Financial Compliance officer, Taifur Rahman, Media and Advocacy Coordinator and Ms. Eva Naznin from Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids (CTFK) visited YPSA on 28th April 2014. A daylong meeting was held where CTFK team, YPSA’s Smoke Free team, YPSA’s core management team and YPSA’s senior team members participated. The main objective of the visit was to review YPSA’s financial management system and Smoke Free Project progress.
Mr. Arifur Rahman, Chief Executive of YPSA started the meeting and explained the objectives of the meeting. After that Md. Ali Shahin shared about YPSA through a power point presentation. Ms. Nasim Banu shared the progress, future plan, new ideas, some challenges and work plan of Smoke Free Project.
Ms. Roksana Begum shared YPSA’s financial management system including internal control, budget and accounting systems, and other financial issues. After presentation a detail discussion on the Smoke Free project was conducted and some suggestions and idea came out from the meeting.
Ms. Nelly Ahmed reviewed different financial documents and procedures of Smoke free Project. After her review, she discussed the results of the financial review and TFK team expressed their satisfaction on YPSA’s program and financial system.
