YPSA become winner of the International Excellence Award 2015

YPSA became winner of the Accessible Books Consortium Award for Accessible Publishing Initiative at the International Excellence Award 2015 held in London Book Fair (LBF) , United Kingdom on 14th April 2015. YPSA was shortlisted along with BooXtream (Netherlands), Libri Italiani Accessibili (Italy), Syndicat National de l’Edition (France) through Global nomination process. YPSA was nominated by the Access to Information (a2i) Program of the Prime Minister’s office of the Bangladesh .

The LBF awards, which are held in partnership with The UK Publishers Association, celebrate success in 18 categories, representing the breadth of the international publishing industry. The London Book Fair (LBF) is the global marketplace for rights negotiation and the sale and distribution of content across print, audio, TV, film and digital channels. Taking place every spring in the world’s premier publishing and cultural capital, it is a unique opportunity to explore, understand and capitalise on the innovations shaping the publishing world of the future.

YPSA has been working and partnering on accessible book publishing with Access to Information (a2i) program of Prime Minister’s office of the Bangladesh , Accessible Books Consortium (ABC), World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Disability Rights Fund (DRF), Australian Aid (AUSAID) , DAISY Consortium , Information Society Innovation Fund (ISIF Asia) , Federation of DPOs Sitakund and Community Radio Sagor Giri FM99.2 .
