YPSA formed human chain in 11 districts (Chittagong, Comilla, Feni, Laxmipur, Noakhali, Brahmanbaria, Chandpur, Cox’s Bazar, Bandarban, Rangamati and Khagrachari) of Chittagong Division on April 12, 2016 in front of respective DC office for demanding imposition of higher tax on all tobacco products. Smoke Free Coalition, councilors, civil society, NGOs, youth volunteers, journalists and YPSA staffs have participated in the human chain. After the human chain a memorandum for increasing tobacco tax handed over to DC and ADC of 11 districts.
