Ms. Pamela Sumner Coffey, Director, International Grants of CFTFK accompany with Ms. Kelly Larson, MPH from Bloomberg Philanthropies, Delhi office and Mr. Md. Akramul Islam, Technical Consultant from The UNION visited YPSA and reviewed YPSA project titled ‘ Promoting Smoke Free Local Government and Public Places in Chittagong Division’ on 21 July’09 in YPSA head office. They met with YPSA management and the project team.
Mr. Arifur Rahman, Chief Executive and Mr. Mahabubur Rahman, Director (Field Operation) of YPSA welcomes them and the Project team leader Ms. Nasim Banu briefed about the project progress to the team. The visiting team also met with several Ward Councilors of Chittagong City Corporation who were Mr. Gias Uddin, Mr. Nazim Uddin Ahmed, Ms. Shaheda Kashem Shathy, Ms. Rehena Kabir Ranu, Ms, Monowara Begum Moni and had discussion with them. Besides, after the meetings in Chittagong Ms. Kelly Larson, MPH from Bloomberg Philanthropies, Delhi office and Mr. Md. Akramul Islam, Technical Consultant from The UNION went to Coxsbazar and met with the Mayor of Coxsbazar Pourashova and the Civil Sergeant of Coxsbazar. And on 22nd July they had a exit meeting with YPSA where Mahabubur Rahman, Director (Field Operation), Ms. Nasim Banu and Muhammed Ali Shahin joined from YPSA.
