YPSA with the support of Winrock International and USAID organized a Critical Engagement Meeting on human trafficking with the Law enforcement authority, Govt. officials, Journalists and Civil Society at Cox’sbazar on 29 April 2013. Additional Police Supper of Cox’sbazar District Mr. Babul Akhter was present as chief guest and ASP of RAB, Cox’sbazar Mr. ahirul Islam was the special guest while Mr. Abu Morshed Khoka, President, Women & Child Protection Network presided over the meeting.
Representatives from Police, BGB, RAB, Coast guard, NSI, DGFI, DEMO, District Information office, District Women Affairs Office, Social Welfare Office, The Daily Protom Alo, Independent TV, BTV, Different NGOs, Some employers who has given Job facilities for Survivors, Shurjer Hashi Clinic, Cox’sbzar Ma O Shishu Hospital, Cox’sbazar Women Support Centre, USAID and Winrock International Partner organizations, Change Maker & Manibhadikar Basttobaon Shonstha , Cox’sbzaar Women & Child protection Network, Bikoshita Nari Network participated in the program .
All participants from Law & enforcement authority has given their commitment to give support to YPSA’s anti trafficking activities.
