YPSA’s journal SOCIAL CHANGE launched

Social Change, a development Journal of YPSA has been opened through a launching ceremony. Dr. Md. Shairul Mashreque, Professor, Department of Public Administration, University of Chittagong was present as chief guest while Md. Arifur Rahman, Chief Executive of YPSA presided over the program. This is 4th issue of the journal and this is a publication where the exchange of ideas among scholars, policy makers and development practitioners, their intellectual and constructive ideas would smooth the way to social transformation in a desired manner. The program was held at the meeting room of YPSA Head Office on 24 March, 2015.

Before opening the journal Professor Dr. Md. Shairul Masreque said, the journal Social Change is one of the unique publications in the arena of social development. This is very important for YPSA which exposes the innovative and research based write-up to readers of the social change. This also develops skills and provides opportunity to the organization for gathering the information of socio-economic condition of the society.

Arifur Rahman, the Chief Executive said, YPSA started to publish this journal Social Change for exploring the prevailing status of the community and help the scholars for promoting their research works by publishing it. He mentioned that Social Change has already been introduced to many national and international universities, organization and academic institutions. We get many responses on this from the readers around the world. YPSA is planning to publish the report for the long run.

Social Change is a journal devoted to the advancement of the research and social studies. The journal tends to entertain articles from the grassroots activists, researchers and appreciates learning from the field situation. YPSA, one of the leading NGO’s in the country, are continuing to publish this journal in a regular basis as a academic and informative contribution for the community.
