Tapan Kumar Ghosh, Director General (Additional Secretary), Bureau of Non-Formal Education (BNFE) under the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education has visited YPSA-Second Chance Education Program Interventions as well as YPSA Head Office, Chittagong on 17 March, 2018. YPSA warmly welcomed Additional Secretary of Bangladesh Government. At first he visited the school of YPSA-Second Chance Education Program in Pahartali Thana, Chittagong.
Afterwards, he visited YPSA head office and observe a refreshers training of YPSA’s Teachers in Second Chance Education Program. He also visited YPSA information center. The information Centre is the archived of YPSA’s recognition and records of different milestones. The Director General highly praised to YPSA’s after visiting the information center. Then he attended a refreshers training of Teachers in Second Chance Education Program. YPSA has welcomed the Director General and Higher Official of Bureau of Non-Formal Education.
Afterwards, Md. Mahabubur Rahman, Director (Social Development) and Program Focal, has given a welcome speech and thanks to the DG of BNFE along with the Higher Government Official of BNFE, BRAC and Save the Children for visiting the YPSA.
Hereafter, program person shared project implementation process. Project teachers demonstrated some extra curriculum session as learning with joy and pleasure. Put an end, a question and answer session was held, where projects staffs were asking numerous questions on BNFE. The DG, BNFE has given the answer on following questions.
At concluding session Md. Arifur Rahman, Chief Executive, YPSA has given a special thanks to the DG, BNFE along with others guest for visiting YPSA’s interventions and given valuable suggestion to project personnel. Mr. Palash Chowdhury, Director (Finance), YPSA was presents in this meeting.
YPSA is now working for providing primary education to the slum living and underprivileged community kids whose are deprived of primary education of government. This program is funded by Bureau of Non-Formal Education, Ministry of Primary and Mass Education and supported by BRAC, Save the Children, and Dhaka Ahsania Mission.
