Save the Children Country Director visited YPSA EiE project Activities

Mr. Onno van Manen, the Country Director, Save the Children visited activities of YPSA-EiE Project in Rohingya Camp#18, Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar in Bangladesh on 10th November 2020. He appreciated the strategies that YPSA has taken to continue imparting lessons to the children  maintaining social distancing at the community level although activities of Learning Centers of YPSA is off in the COVID-19 situation. He especially talked the Rohingya teachers who teach children at the Learning Centers and guardians of Rohingya children on how to reach out all the children in the community through multiple shifts as it is presently taking huge time to cover all the children. it is here to mention that Rohingya people living in the camps are forcefully displaced Myanmar Citizens.

The Country Director was accompanied by the senior management of Save the Children & YPSA-project team. On behalf of YPSA management,  Mr. Rajat Barua, Focal Person of the project present the status of the project activities. He told the visiting Country Director of Save the Children that all the activities of the project which are pending due to COVID-19 will be completed soon after the Learning Centers resume. However, Mr. Onno van Manen, the Country Director assured that Save the Children will continue & augment their support to YPSA in the future so that children’s education & development continue.
