A View Exchange meeting was held between K. M. Tariqul Islam, Director General (Grade-1), NGO Affairs Bureau (NGOAB), a regulatory body of NGOs under the Prime Minister’s Office of Bangladesh Government, and Md. Arifur Rahman, Chief Executive of YPSA. The meeting was held at the NGOAB Office, Dhaka on 18th August 2021.
YPSA and its different program interventions and approaches as well as learning were shared during the meeting. The Director General emphasized on effective coordination with local administration and need based services to the most affected and vulnerable community.
He also appreciated YPSA to take initiative to publish special book titled “Hundred years of Mujib” during Mujib Year. Mujib Year is the year declared to celebrate on the occasion of the centennial birth anniversary of the founding leader of Bangladesh, Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The Government of Bangladesh has declared the year 2020-21 as the Mujib Year.
