An organizational Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is singed between Swisscontact and Young Power in Social Action (YPSA) for providing RMG workers and their Communities with access to savings and alternative livelihood choices through women’s entrepreneurship under the Sarathi: Improving Financial Health” Project.
The MoU was signed at YPSA Head office meeting Room, Chattogram on 28 December 2022. Md. Arifur Rahman, Chief Executive, YPSA signed the agreement on behalf of YPSA and Ms. Bipasha S. Hossain, Team Leader, Sarathi, Swisscontact –Bangladesh. Md. Manzur Morshed Chowdhury, Director (EDP), Palash Chowdhury, Director (Finance), Md. Shahajahan, Deputy Director (KM4D) of YPSA, Md. Shariful Islam Project coordinator (M&E) of Swisscontact and Senior officials of YPSA were present during this MoU Signing ceremony.
At the time of signing the agreement, both parties agreed to increase economic prosperity of garment workers through savings activities and entrepreneurship development for achieve project goals.
