Call For Papers : Social Change Journal

Dear Researchers, Academicians and Development Professionals, Warm greetings from Social Change: A Journal for Social Development. We are pleased to share that YPSA has successfully published 11 volumes of its peer-reviewed journal, Social Change (ISSN: 1997-938X – Print | 2356-1890 – Online). The journal serves as a platform for the exchange of ideas and insights among scholars, policymakers, development practitioners, and academicians. As we commemorate YPSA’s 40 year journey (established in 1985 – UN International Youth Year) in promoting social development, we are delighted to announce a special edition of Social Change to mark this milestone. This issue will focus on key thematic areas that have defined our work and commitment over the years.

We are currently preparing Volume No. 12 and cordially invite you to contribute a manuscript to this special issue. Submissions should align with one or more of the following thematic areas:

1. Health
2. Education
3. Economic Empowerment
4. Human Rights and Good Governance
5. Environment and Climate Change
6. Disaster Risk Reduction and Humanitarian Response

Manuscripts may be submitted in the form of:
* Review Papers (up to 5,000 words)
* Research Papers (up to 8,000 words)

We welcome submissions that present practical experiences, field-based evidence, policy insights, or innovative approaches relevant to the above themes.

Submission Deadline: 30th September 2025.

This special edition will serve as both a tribute to our collective efforts and a valuable resource to inform future development strategies. We sincerely hope you will consider contributing to this meaningful publication.
